Riu Palace Riviera Maya - All Inclusive

The food was wonderful; the staff was very kind and accommodating. The pools were very nice. It was a pleasure not to have to "reserve" lounge chair in able to have a spot at the pool. Probably, the cleanest place we have ever stayed. We asked to change our original room because of a noise factor. They moved us to a more centrally located room. The bartenders that delivered drinks to the pool areas were sooo nice and friendly.

Beach location near the buildings, WiFi available everywhere, good food and multiple options. Nice to have full access to all RIU hotels in the vicinity. Walking in the neighborhood is safe and pleasant. Minibar in the room was always full. Free good quality alcohol available in the room.

Excellent choice of restaurants and bar options, every type of variety and well presented. Service was exceptional as well and staff were switched on, friendly and informative. The pool areas were clean and well maintained and the evening entertainment was brilliant. We had a great time and couldn't recommend the property more.

The location is great, the facilities also very good and the staff was very helpful. In summary a great place to go with your family for a nice holiday.

It's all very luxurious! This hotel knows what customer service is. You get drinks at the pool and at the beach. They come round all the time to ask you what you want. It's amazing. The people are very friendly who work there, genuinly friendly. Not fake. Also they don't ask for tips, which is very relaxing. Also i expected/feared a bit that there would be a lot of drunk people, but the guests was really quite sophisticated. Different than what i encountered at other all inclusives. I guess because it's quite a high end hotel. The guests were very friendly. Even if i don't/didn't like entertainment at hotels that much, i did find the quality of the entertainment was really good. It does get loud sometimes and a bit much if you're there for too long, but luckily you can also go to the beach. There is also a LOT of food. I love the all a cart options but also the buffet is good. It's nice to change scenery every night. The food was, as someone mentioned before, hit and miss. Some things were really great, some a bit less. But luckely there is so much to choose from.
